Joe is Managing Partner at Hayes Solicitors. He handles a wide variety of commercial disputes involving high value claims, complex issues and voluminous data for financial institutions and corporate clients. These disputes are generally progressed through the Commercial Court and many are resolved through Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Joseph is Chairman of Dublin Solicitors’ Bar Association Litigation Committee. His practice includes advising clients on regulatory matters and he has advised the US Securities and Exchange Commission in relation to their investigations in Ireland. He represents The Irish Times in relation to media law issues and acted for Donal Kinsella in a defamation case involving the largest jury award made in the State.
